Approval regulations:

  • Thanks to ECE, E11, R87 and RL identification / test mark 100% in Europe-wide road traffic approval and registration-free.
  • Thanks to the approval mark on the lens of the daytime running light, no documents (such as test reports, ABE etc.) need to be carried along with the vehicle documents.
  • Only lights like these, with the ECE-87 and RL markings on the lens, are approved for road use as daytime running lights, everything else is ONLY a marker light!

Installation:

This universal LED daytime running light & fog light installation set replaces the factory-fitted fog lights. They are fitted to the existing mounting points on the bumper. Simply replace the fog lights with the daytime running lights (with the installation material) and reconnect the cables according to the connection instructions.

If your vehicle does not have original fog lights, you will not only need a corresponding cover with a cut-out at the front for the fog lights, but also the on/off switch for the fog lights. This is already included in this set.

We offer this set for vehicles with or without standard fog lights. Please select the appropriate set in our shop!

Connection:

The control unit included in the scope of delivery regulates the switching of the lights.  The daytime running lights light up automatically when the ignition is switched on and the vehicle lights are switched off. They are not a substitute for dipped headlights at dusk or in the dark. The daytime running lights switch off automatically when the vehicle lights or fog lights are switched on. On vehicles with xenon headlights, the headlight plus must be connected from the daytime running lights to the parking lights!
