The essential disadvantages are often overlooked: aluminum rims are mostly very expensive and resent any kind of damages. Usal wheel covers display also no satisfactory alternative. They embrittlement very fast and appear to be grotty and cheap. The fitting is also mostly very bad.

Highly polished hub caps made of stainless steel for transporter and mobile homes. The fitting of the hub caps is done with vehicle specific brackets (no clamp brackets) screwed under the wheel nuts of the standard steel rim.
